Lean Six Sigma

A complete belt path in one library. Yellow Belt for awareness and team participation, Green Belt for running improvement projects, Black Belt for leading them and coaching others. Each tier reuses the DMAIC structure at increasing statistical depth.

What it covers

  1. Yellow Belt — foundations

Lean and Six Sigma history, DMAIC overview, waste, basic process mapping, and how to contribute to a project team.

  2. Green Belt — Define

Project charter, SIPOC, voice of the customer, critical-to-quality translation, and scoping a problem to a solvable size.

  3. Green Belt — Measure

Data collection planning, operational definitions, measurement system analysis, baseline capability, and process capability indices.

  4. Green Belt — Analyse

Graphical analysis, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression, and root cause validation with data.

  5. Green Belt — Improve

Solution generation, pilots, mistake-proofing, and basic design of experiments.

  6. Green Belt — Control

Control plans, control charts, standard work, and formal handover to the process owner.

  7. Black Belt — advanced methods

Advanced DOE, non-normal data, multivariate analysis, reliability, and modelling.

  8. Black Belt — leading and coaching

Project selection and portfolio of improvements, mentoring Green Belts, change leadership, and financial validation of benefits.

  9. Exam preparation

Practice questions, worked case studies, and a formula and terminology reference for each tier.
